Job summary

Mann Group VIC Pty Ltd is a leading demolition contractor based in Clayton, Melbourne. We are seeking an experienced Demolition Project Manager to lead multiple projects from tender handover to completion, working with clients, consultants and in‑house engineers.

You will oversee live demolition environments, including structural, high-reach and mechanical demolition, hazardous materials removal and site remediation, ensuring safety, on‑time delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in demolition in a Project Management or senior site management role.
• Demonstrated delivery of structural and/or industrial demolition projects.
• Working knowledge of demolition work plans, engineering methodologies, exclusion zones and sequencing.
• Understanding of hazardous materials management (asbestos Class A/B removal processes, clearance certificates).
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation as it applies to demolition work, including notification requirements and high-risk work licensing.
• Experience in contract administration and commercial management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and reporting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage demolition projects from commencement to completion with staged possessions and sequencing.
• Develop and review work plans, methods and engineering approaches with in‑house engineers.
• Oversee asbestos and hazardous materials removal in coordination with licensed teams.
• Develop project programmes, budgets and forecasts.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel including plant operators and crews.
• Procure labour, demolition plant and attachments, equipment and materials.
• Ensure compliance with WorkSafe Victoria requirements and all statutory obligations.
• Maintain client relationships and provide regular project reporting.
• Monitor costs, waste tracking and financial performance.
