RACV Noosa Resort in Queensland is seeking a Demi Chef to join our busy kitchen team on a full-time basis. You will support the Executive Chef and colleagues to deliver high-quality meals for members and guests across our resort dining options, including buffet service, bar meals and in-room dining.
This role requires a Commercial Cookery qualification, solid knife skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

An opportunity has become available for enthusiastic and energetic Demi Chef, to join our talented team of chefs on a full-time basis. In this role you will be responsible for assisting in the effective operation of the Kitchen. This will be achieved by working as a team with other Kitchen staff to provide the appropriate quality and level of service to our members and guests.
As a Demi Chef,you will be reporting to the Executive Chef and supported by other senior members of the kitchen brigade. Dining options offered at RACV Noosa Resort include: Buffet breakfast in our Arcuri Restaurant, bar service for lunch and dinner, poolside service, in room dining and our popular pizzeria overlooking the infinity pool. In addition, RACV Noosa Resort caters for large corporate groups utilising our conference and event facilities.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
This is a full-time role, with a typical shift pattern of 5.30am - 1.30pm or 1:30pm - 9:30pm.
A Commercial Cookery qualification, recognised in Australia(essential)
Previous Demi Chef experience in a 4-5 star hotel/resort (highly regarded)
Demonstrated experience in cookery and well developed knife skills
Solid knowledge of kitchen sections, service styles, mis en place procedures, food items, cookery techniques, sauces, cold larder, vegetables & butchery
Thrive in a large, busy & fast paced work environment
The ability to comfortably lift 20kgs and perform repetitive manual tasks safely
