Job summary

Sea World Resort on the Gold Coast seeks a Demi Chef to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You’ll prepare and present high-quality dishes, support your section, and collaborate with the Chef de Partie to ensure smooth service in a vibrant resort setting.

We value passion for food, teamwork, and strong hygiene standards, with opportunities for mentoring apprentices and continuing culinary development. Includes extensive park-based perks and on-site growth.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and relevant commercial kitchen experience.
• Experience working as a Demi Chef or in a similar role.
• Passion for food, teamwork and delivering great dining experiences.
• Ability to work independently while supporting the team.
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergies with safe prep and plating.
• Positive attitude and desire to continue developing culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes to resort standards.
• Taking responsibility for your section and ensuring smooth, efficient service.
• Working closely with the Chef de Partie and kitchen team to keep things running like clockwork.
