Dementia Support Australia (DSA) seeks a Dementia Support Coach to guide and support aged care staff and carers in delivering evidence-based dementia care. Fixed Term Contract until June 2028, based in Parramatta, with hybrid work options.

You will utilise empathy, coaching skills and aged care experience to apply the HACDSP program and collaborate with team leaders to improve client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational abilities and time management in a busy environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to customer service excellence, including conflict resolution.
• Willingness to travel intrastate and interstate to support services.
• Qualifiable care-related qualification is highly desirable.

This role sits within Dementia Support Australia (DSA), which is a national dementia support service, funded by the Australian Government, led by HammondCare. As a professional coach, you will work in diverse care settings, through the Hospital to Aged Care Dementia Support Program (HACDSP) – a service delivered by Dementia Support Australia. In this wholesome and holistic role, you can use your empathy, coaching skills and aged care experience; to deliver hands-on, evidence-based dementia support and advice to clients, carers and care staff.
