Dementia Support Coach role within Dementia Support Australia (DSA), led by HammondCare, based in our Adelaide office. You will deliver hands-on, evidence-based dementia support and coaching to clients, carers and care staff in diverse settings through HACDSP.

This fixed-term contract runs until June 2028, offering a holistic, compassionate approach to dementia care and opportunities for professional development within a purpose-driven team.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and time-management abilities in busy environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to excellence in customer service and conflict resolution.
• Willingness to travel intrastate and interstate to support DSA services.
• Qualification in Allied Health/ Diversional Therapy / Enrolled Nursing / Aged Care is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with peers to develop skills and knowledge of aged care staff and carers.
• Support implementation of Dementia Support Australia plans on the ground.
• Coordinate brokerage items with clients and carers to improve quality of life.
• Build rapport with staff and carers to strengthen dementia care practice.
