Dementia Support Australia (DSA) is seeking a Dementia Support Coach to work across diverse care settings under the HACDSP program, funded by the Australian Government. You will apply empathy, coaching skills and aged care experience to deliver hands-on, evidence-based dementia support and guidance to clients, carers and care staff.

Based in the Brisbane/Metro South region with flexible hybrid arrangements, this fixed-term contract runs until June 2028.

Formación

• Strong organisational abilities and time management in a busy environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and conflict resolution.
• Current driver’s licence and safe driving record.
• Willingness to travel intrastate and interstate to support services.
• Desirable qualifications in Allied Health/Support roles.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with peers to develop the skills and knowledge of aged care staff and carers.
• Support implementation of Dementia Support Australia plans on the ground.
• Coordinate the use of brokerage items with clients and carers to improve quality of life.
• Act as a trusted liaison, building rapport with staff and carers to enhance care practice.
