Dementia Support Australia (DSA) invites applications for a Dementia Support Coach. This national, govt-funded program led by HammondCare delivers hands-on dementia coaching to clients, carers and care staff in diverse settings.

As a professional coach you will apply empathy, coaching skills and aged care experience to implement evidence-based dementia support plans. This fixed-term role is based at our Parramatta office with hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifikationen

• Strong organisational abilities, including time management and prioritisation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to excellence in customer service principles and conflict resolution.
• Current driver's licence and safe driving record.
• Willingness to travel intrastate and interstate to support services.
• Desirable qualifications in Allied Health/aged care related fields.

Aufgaben

• Develop skills and knowledge of aged care staff and carers to support dementia care.
• Support implementation of Dementia Support Australia plans on the ground using coaching techniques.
• Coordinate brokerage items with clients and carers to improve life quality.
• Build rapport with staff and carers to enhance dementia care practice.
