Kogan.com is seeking a commercially astute Demand Planner to manage forecasts and replenishment, ensuring optimal stock coverage to support customers. The role involves forecasting accuracy, inventory control, and collaboration with stakeholders to drive efficient eCommerce operations.

Qualifications

• University degree in Commerce, Business, Mathematics or similar.
• Experience in Demand Planning or Inventory/Stock Control, preferably in Retail, eCommerce or FMCG.
• Experience with SAP and Demand Planning software is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Achieve forecast accuracy across product lines by collaborating with internal stakeholders on future demand.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet KPIs and ensure accurate, timely purchase orders.
• Propose improvements to current processes and think critically to challenge status quo.
• Ensure timely import of products and effective stock management for an exceptional customer experience.
• Analyse costs related to logistics and warehousing; optimize stock shipments and frequencies.
• Conduct regular demand analyses and audits to prevent stockouts and aged stock; take corrective actions.
• Assess performance of product ranges and recommend actions to stakeholders.
• Minimise sold-out products; monitor and update prices, presale dates and stock levels.
• Collaborate with Category Managers to ensure adequate stock considering demand shifts from sales or promotions.
