Job summary

Sharp and Carter is seeking immediately available candidates for a 6-month contract in Melbourne to join a collaborative demand planning function. You will work with merchandising to anticipate demand shifts and ensure the planning system reflects current parameters.

Day to day you will manage data inputs across an advanced planning platform and an ERP, review forecasts, and support replenishment decisions. There is real potential to move into more complex forecasting as you settle into the role.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a related analytical role.
• A genuine passion for building a career in supply chain — you want to understand how things work, not just complete tasks
• Comfortable working across planning and ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail with a data-driven mindset
• A collaborative communicator who can work effectively with commercial and operational teams

About the role

This is a 6-month contract opportunity within a collaborative demand planning function. You will work closely with the merchandising team to anticipate demand shifts, maintain product lifecycle settings, and ensure the planning system accurately reflects current parameters.

Day to day, you will be working across two key systems — an advanced planning platform and an ERP — managing data inputs, reviewing forecasts, and supporting replenishment decisions. There is genuine scope for the right candidate to move into more complex demand forecasting work as they settle into the role.
