Talent is seeking an experienced Dell Storage & Backup Administrator to own storage performance, capacity planning and data protection in a complex enterprise environment. The role involves administering Dell PowerMAX, NetWorker, Data Domain and ECS platforms, managing provisioning, backup policies, replication and recovery operations.

You will monitor performance and capacity, propose improvements and resolve Level 3 incidents while leading data-recovery activities.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive enterprise storage and backup administration experience.
• Hands-on with Dell PowerMAX/VMAX, NetWorker, Data Domain and ECS.
• Knowledge of SAN fabrics and Fibre Channel zoning.
• Strong troubleshooting, capacity planning and stakeholder communication skills.

We’re seeking an experienced Dell Storage & Backup Administrator to take ownership of storage performance, capacity planning and data protection within a complex enterprise environment.

The role

• Administer Dell PowerMAX, NetWorker, Data Domain and ECS platforms.
• Manage provisioning, backup policies, replication and recovery operations.
• Monitor performance and capacity, recommending improvements.
• Resolve complex Level 3 incidents and lead data-recovery activities.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on integration, upgrades and technology refresh projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and support ITIL change processes.

About You

• Extensive enterprise storage and backup administration experience.
• Strong hands-on skills with Dell PowerMAX/VMAX, NetWorker, Data Domain and ECS.
• Sound knowledge of SAN fabrics, Fibre Channel zoning and DD Boost.
• Strong troubleshooting, capacity-planning and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Ballarat or Melbourne CBD
• Dell certifications, VMware storage integration, Brocade/Cisco MDS and scripting skills will be highly regarded.
