Blok Freight Pty Ltd seeks a reliable Courier Van Delivery Driver for our Murwillumbah team. You will be the friendly face delivering parcels and providing excellent service across Northern Rivers. Join a family‑owned, locally operated business with 30+ years of service and a brand new Murwillumbah depot.

Your day includes route planning, scanning deliveries, and delivering with care while maintaining vehicle standards and safety. Training and overtime opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Australian C Class driver’s licence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and safety‑mocussed applicant.

Responsibilities

• Sort parcels and plan delivery route from 7:00 to 4:00.
• Deliver consignments on time and in full.
• Safely operate vehicle and perform pre‑shift checks.
• Use handheld scanners for deliveries and pickups.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Load/unload freight and plan efficient routes.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report issues.
• Utilise tailgate loader and trolley jacks where required.

Blok Freight Pty Ltd are excited to be offering our latest opportunity for a Courier Van Delivery Driver with our Murwillumbah team!

Join a family-owned and locally operated business that has been servicing the Northern Rivers for over 30 years.

We are looking for reliable, energetic and customer-focused drivers who take pride in their work and want to be part of a growing local business.

Your day will include:

• Sorting parcels and planning your delivery route from 7AM until 4PM Approx.
• Striving to deliver consignments in full and on time.
• Safely operating your vehicle and completing vehicle checks
• Using handheld scanners to complete deliveries and pickups
• Showcasing your excellent customer service skills
• Completing multi-drop deliveries and pickups, striving to deliver parcels efficiently.
• Planning your delivery routes and loading and unloading freight from your vehicle.
• Takes pride in their equipment and is able to wash and clean their vehicle weekly.
• Loading your truck and scanning on the deliveries and pickups each day.
• Ability to use a tailgate loader and trolley jacks to complete deliveries.

Since 1992, Blok Freight has been servicing the Northern Rivers with time critical, parcel express and bulk freight services.

Blok is a family and locally owned company, with huge ambitions to grow.

The business currently operates in two facilities in Lismore and Murwillumbah; however, we have some big targets coming in 2026, we have now opened a brand-new depot in Murwillumbah. We currently employ over 80 people with a fleet of 60 vehicles that covers Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales. While also servicing Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sydney. You will be joining a can-do group of people who all share the same passion of under promising and over delivering for our customers and the community.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for people who:

• Are reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic.
• Are self-starters who can manage their workload efficiently.
• Hold a current Australian driver's licence – C Class.
• Have a safe driving history.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Have strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.
• Are physically fit and able to repeatedly lift and carry freight.
• Are comfortable being on your feet for the majority of the day.
• Can work independently as well as part of a team.
• Have a professional and customer-focused attitude.
• Have previous delivery, courier, transport, warehousing or freight experience (advantageous but not essential).

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to complete:

• Pre-Employment Health & Physical Assessment.

• Licence and driving history checks.
• Relevant employment and reference checks.

Please note – this role is Monday to Friday with some Saturdays available dependent on business needs.
