Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Delivery Manager for the Rockingham Delivery Centre in Western Australia. You will lead the day‑to‑day operations of a busy delivery facility, guiding a large frontline team, driving safety, engagement and high quality service for customers and communities.

You'll partner with frontline leaders, unions and stakeholders to build capability, manage change, and deliver cost‑effective outcomes while fostering a positive, inclusive culture and strong workplace

About the opportunity

As the Delivery Manager at Rockingham Delivery Centre, you'll lead theday-to-day operations of this busy delivery facility, with a large and diverse team of Postal Delivery Officers. A key focus of the role is creating an environment where people feel supported, safe, engaged and empowered to perform at their best. Working closely with frontline leaders, employees, unions and key stakeholders, you'll play a critical role in building capability, fostering strong workplace relationships and leading your team through periods of change and transformation.

This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys developing people, navigating complex workforce matters, creating a cost effective facility that delivers the best outcome for our customers and communities, works through challenges and creates a positive, inclusive culture while delivering strong outcomes for both employees and customers.

What you’ll deliver with us

• Lead daily delivery, processing and support activities to achieve service, safety and performance objectives.

About you

You're a genuine people leader who thrives on helping others succeed. You know how to bring people together, build trust and create an environment where individuals and teams can perform at their best. You have experience navigating complex people situations, leading through change and balancing the needs of employees, customers and the business.

You bring a calm, pragmatic and approachable leadership style, with the ability to influence at all levels and foster strong relationships across a diverse workforce.

You’ll bring:

• Solid experience leading complex, multi-site or multi-shift operations.
• Demonstrated success leading large frontline workforces in industrial or unionised environments.
• Previous exposure to Lean, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement or Change Management methodologies
• A track record of delivering large-scale operational transformation and sustained performance improvement.
