Allianz Australia seeks a Delivery Lead – Data for a Sydney-based day-rate contract to drive major data projects across business units. You will partner with business and delivery teams to define scope, plans, and governance, ensuring on-time, within-budget outcomes.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong stakeholder and vendor management, and the ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Delivery Lead with strong data project delivery experience in the insurance industry.
• Experience managing project initiation, working closely with the Business and delivery teams.
• Strong Stakeholder Management experience required – Business facing role.
• Demonstrated capability delivering projects in an Agile delivery environment.

Responsabilités

• Deliver large complex data projects on time and within budget.
• Develop detailed project plans, tracking and reporting progress and risks to ensure timelines and budgets.
• Deliver governance, financial and milestone updates within agreed timelines.
• Identify, escalate, manage and resolve project issues, risks and dependencies across teams.
• Lead analysis of opportunities including data, process and cost-benefit analysis to inform decisions.
• Coordinate among stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and manage diverse project teams including vendors.

About the role

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver effective project management services for major projects and programs of work run within or across business units and assist stakeholders to identify, develop, design, implement and monitor business improvement projects.

• Deliver large complex projects and business improvement initiatives in accordance with scope, time, resource and budget constraints.
• Develop detailed project plans, tracking and reporting progress and risks to ensure that the project meets agreed timelines and budgets.
• Deliver all governance, financial and milestone updates within agreed timelines.
• Identify, escal, manage and resolve project issues, risks and dependencies by working with stakeholders across project teams and the wider business.
• Lead the analysis of opportunities including utilisation of tools, data analysis, process analysis, and cost-benefit analysis to influence and inform decision making across the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate coordination amongst various stakeholders across business and project teams to ensure the smooth delivery of the project.
• Manage diverse project teams consisting of delivery partners, internal resources, and vendors located in multiple locations.

About you
