Job summary

APA Group is seeking a Project Manager to join the Grid Solutions Program in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney on a 2-year fixed-term basis. You will lead day-to-day delivery across multiple workstreams, coordinating business, technology and vendor teams to meet milestones and quality standards.

Reporting to the Portfolio Delivery Manager, you will manage requirements, dependencies and risks, maintain governance artefacts, and drive delivery momentum in a complex, highly regulated energy environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex technology or enterprise system projects.
• Experience managing multiple streams concurrently within a program.
• Strong stakeholder management across business, technology, delivery partners and vendors.
• Experience in energy, utilities, regulated industries a plus.
• Structured, organised approach; able to navigate ambiguity and tight timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery across multiple GSP value streams, ensuring milestones, dependencies and deliverables are achieved on time and to the required quality standards.
• Drive delivery from requirements clarification through design, build and system testing, maintaining visibility of risks, issues and critical path activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources, balancing priorities, capacity and competing demands to maintain delivery momentum.
• Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams and external delivery partners to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
• Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues and blockers, providing clear recommendations and recovery actions.
• Maintain governance artefacts, delivery plans and status reporting, ensuring scope changes are understood and managed.
