Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Delivery Driver in Queensland to coordinate and deliver parts to workshops and dealerships, building strong customer relationships with high service standards. You’ll work Mon-Fri, in a team-oriented branch environment, with safety-first practices and opportunities for career development within the GPC Asia Pacific network.

You’ll need a valid driver’s licence, the ability to lift heavy items, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is desirable.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise deliveries based on urgency.
• Physically able to lift and handle products and perform delivery duties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage deliveries to trade customers (workshops & dealerships).
• Safely deliver parts and products in a timely manner while maintaining high service standards.
• Assist team with orders, dispatch, credits and handling customer enquiries.

Driver’s build strong relationships through high standards of sales and service in a customer facing role.Duties include:Coordinate and manage deliveriesEnsure a safe work environmentSafe driving behavioursDeliver high level customer serviceBuild strong customer bondsSafely deliver parts & products to our trade customers, including workshops and dealershipsActively promote products & marketing activities when delivering productsAssist the team with other tasks such as processing orders, dispatching products, processing credits, customer enquiriesNote, this role will require lifting, bending, climbing & safe driving / machine operation.Who we’re looking for:Ability to multitask and prioritise deliveries based on urgencyCustomer service mindset; can build strong customer relationshipsFriendly and knowledgeableComfort working independentlyPhysical capacity to perform the duties of the role (including handling products of a heavy nature)Conscious of workplace safety alwaysOngoing commitment to safe driving practicesHold a current/valid driver’s licence (manual preferred)Previous customer service experience within a trade/mechanical environment (desirable)Available Mon - Fri and flexible to work other days if requestedFormer GPC team members welcome to apply.
