Job summary

GPC Asia Pacific is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver in the Toowoomba area to coordinate and manage deliveries to trade customers, while upholding high service standards.

You will work closely with branch teams, promote products during deliveries, and assist with orders, dispatching, and customer inquiries. A valid manual driving licence and physical ability are required; Mon–Fri availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Hold a current/valid driver’s licence (manual preferred).
• Previous customer service experience within a trade/mechanical environment is desirable.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise deliveries based on urgency.
• Conscious of workplace safety always.

Delivery Driver

About the role:

Our Driver’s typical day isn’t just driving and delivering parts, they play a key role in our branch teams. Driver’s build strong relationships through high standards of sales and service in a customer facing role.

Duties include:

• Coordinate and manage deliveries
• Ensure a safe work environment
• Safe driving behaviours
• Deliver high level customer service
• Build strong customer bonds
• Safely deliver parts & products to our trade customers, including workshops and dealerships
• Actively promote products & marketing activities when delivering products
• Assist the team with other tasks such as processing orders, dispatching products, processing credits, customer enquiries

Note, this role will require lifting, bending, climbing & safe driving / machine operation.
