Job summary

Chadstone Motor Group in Oakleigh is seeking a Delivery & Quality Control Coordinator to join the Pre-Delivery team on a full-time basis, Mon-Fri, 8:00am to 4:06pm. You will oversee final delivery readiness, ensure vehicles are presented to a high standard and ready for customer handover.

Responsibilities include QC checks, vehicle presentation, and coordinating multiple vehicles daily to meet dealership handover timelines while maintaining safety and organisation on site.

Qualifications

• Current valid driver's licence (essential).
• Strong attention to detail and high quality standards.
• Ability to drive and manoeuvre vehicles in a yard environment.
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple vehicles and priorities.
• Willingness to follow checklists and processes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the final delivery-readiness process for a high volume of vehicles.
• Perform final quality control checks before customer handover.
• Inspect vehicles for scratches, dents, damage or presentation issues.
• Check interior/exterior cleanliness and overall vehicle presentation.
• Check tyres, wheels, fuel/charge levels and warning lights.
• Ensure floor mats, accessories and other vehicle requirements are in place.
• Prepare service books and ensure spare keys are ready to go with each vehicle.
• Fit registration plates to vehicles.
• Complete and maintain the final delivery checklist.
• Identify and report issues that need rectification before leaving site.
• Coordinate vehicles so they are ready to leave for the dealership on time.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Support the wider Pre-Delivery team with day-to-day operations as required.

We are looking for a Delivery & Quality Control Coordinator to join our Pre-Delivery team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 4:06pm.

This is a hands-on role responsible for managing the final preparation of vehicles before they leave our Pre-Delivery site and head to the dealership for customer handover. You’ll make sure every vehicle is complete, presented to a high standard and ready to go.

The Role

Working closely with the Pre-Delivery and dealership teams, you will coordinate the final delivery-readiness process across a high volume of vehicles each day.

• Managing the daily flow of vehicles scheduled for delivery to our dealerships
• Completing final quality control checks to ensure vehicles are ready for customer handover
• Inspecting vehicles for any scratches, dents, damage or presentation issues
• Checking interior and exterior cleanliness and overall vehicle presentation
• Checking tyres, wheels, fuel/charge levels and warning lights
• Ensuring floor mats, accessories and other vehicle requirements are in place
• Preparing service books and ensuring spare keys are ready to go with each vehicle
• Fitting registration plates to vehicles
• Completing and maintaining the final delivery checklist
• Identifying and reporting any issues that need to be rectified before the vehicle leaves site
• Ensuring keys, books, plates and all required items are with the correct vehicle
• Moving vehicles around the yard and positioning them for collection and delivery
• Coordinating vehicles so they are ready to leave for the dealership on time
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
• Supporting the wider Pre-Delivery team with general day-to-day operations as required

You will play an important role in making sure nothing gets missed before a vehicle reaches the dealership and ultimately the customer.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, practical and takes genuine pride in getting things right.

You will ideally have:

• A current driver’s licence (essential)
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of quality
• Confidence driving and manoeuvring vehicles in a yard environment
• An organised approach and the ability to manage multiple vehicles and priorities each day
• A hands-on attitude and willingness to get involved
• The ability to follow checklists and processes accurately
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong focus on safety
• Automotive or dealership experience (preferred, but not essential)
