Job summary

Thales in NSW is seeking an Installation, Integration and Test Technician to join our team in Rydalmere. You will support design, planning, installation and testing of communication systems upgrades on defence projects.

The role requires working in a small team, with occasional interstate travel, and pre-employment checks. Australian citizenship and NV1 security clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

AQF Certificate/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Systems (or currently completing).
Experience with communication and/or electronic systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Understanding of configuration management.

Responsibilities

Develop installation documentation for activities.
Install project equipment.
Test installations for standards and safety.
Set to work of electronic and communication equipment/software for testing.
Ensure quality and mentoring for the project team.
