Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis Australia is seeking a high-performing Analyst to join our Canberra team, working with Defence stakeholders to deliver workforce and training analytics. You will produce high-quality analysis, reports and recommendations to inform senior decision makers in a multinational, multidisciplinary setting.

You will contribute to workforce planning, organisational design and training analyses, supporting complex programs with rigorous quantitative and qualitative data.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on site in Canberra, ACT with full-time attendance as required.
• Bachelor's degree or 5 years Navy-related trade/experience; STEM is suitable.
• Experience in Defence, government, consulting or complex operations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities; attention to detail.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support workforce planning, modelling and organisational design activities.
• Analyse training systems, workforce requirements and readiness.
• Collect, analyse and interpret data to support recommendations.
• Develop reports, briefings and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagements across Defence and industry.
• Contribute to design and implementation of workforce and training solutions.
• Support project planning, risk management and delivery in a complex environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and multinational teams.
