Job summary

A leading infrastructure services provider is seeking a Trade Assistant to support maintenance activities for the Australian Defence Force in Meeandah, Queensland. The role involves assisting in tyre fitting and various workshop tasks. Candidates should have a current Driver's License, experience with tyre fitting is preferred, and you must be an Australian citizen. This position offers $34.29 per hour, full-time with benefits including training and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Driver’s License (C class, manual, open).
• Have a great attitude and work ethic with minimal supervision.
• Experience in tyre fitting is highly desirable.
• Possess a High-Risk Work license with forklift competencies.
• Computer literacy using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
• Must be an Australian citizen and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist trades personnel with various workshop tasks.
• Help in maintenance and storeroom duties.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Operate plant and equipment if qualified and licensed.
