Job summary

Cleared ICT in Melbourne is seeking a Defence Products Program Manager to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced mechatronic defence systems for aerospace and land platforms.

You will guide cross-disciplinary teams, manage UAV-related programs, and drive project delivery from acquisition through sustainment in a permanent full-time role based in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in engineering or project management.
• Defence industry experience or knowledge of UAV operations and design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and deployment of automated mechatronic defence systems.
• Define project requirements, objectives and deliverables with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to engineers and technicians.
• Oversee integration of robotics, sensors and automation into defence systems.
• Manage resource allocation to ensure timely project delivery.
• Identify initiatives to maximise profitability and growth.
• Develop business strategies for future product growth and development.
• Ensure quality assurance and risk mitigation.
