Job summary

Saab Australia is seeking a Product Owner within the Systems Delivery Group to maximise value of software-intensive systems. You will be the primary customer advocate, bridging business needs and development work.

Responsibilities include prioritising work with the software team, defining in-scope functionality, coordinating with systems engineering, communicating requirements clearly, reviewing design and test artefacts, and supporting sprint planning and product evolution in line with global

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in Systems Engineering for software-intensive systems.
• Experience across Requirements Management, System Architecture, Systems Integration, and Verification/Validation.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise module and component development activities with the software team and bugs/documentation updates.
• Decide what functionality is in-scope and what is out-of-scope with system-wide impact insight.
• Collaborate with systems engineering and software development teams for smooth product development.
• Clearly communicate system requirements and design, ensuring alignment across teams.
• Provide system-level technical support to Team Leads in software planning.
• Review requirements, design, test plans and test results, tracing to subsystem docs to ensure needs are met.
• Support team planning (quarterly and sprint) and retrospectives, refining features and dependencies.
• Align planning and evolution with global product design where applicable.
