Job summary
Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking an experienced engineer based in Exmouth to bring a Defence communications capability into service. You will perform integration, verification and testing across hardware, software and infrastructure, working with technicians to diagnose issues and validate real-world performance.
As the program grows, you’ll contribute to testing, maintenance support and operational readiness, gaining exposure across systems engineering.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree with Defence or complex technical environment experience.
- Experience in systems engineering, integration, testing, verification or validation.
- Able to move between hands-on problem solving and engineering documentation.
- Hold or eligible for Engineers Australia membership.
Responsibilities
- Support integration, verification and testing across complex communications and mission systems.
- Investigate technical issues with engineers and technicians to identify practical solutions.
- Contribute to system acceptance, operational readiness and government-led test programs.
- Review technical procedures, documentation and engineering artefacts to support quality outcomes.
- Work closely with local and remote stakeholders across Australia and the United States.
