Job summary

CAPDA is a Canberra-based professional services company seeking experienced Systems Engineers to support Defence capability across acquisition, integration and sustainment environments. You will contribute to systems engineering, technical assurance, Test and Evaluation (T&E), configuration management and governance activities.

We are looking for candidates with demonstrated Systems Engineering experience in Defence, SEMP/TCP experience, and knowledge of V&V, T&E and engineering

Qualifications

• Candidates must have demonstrated Systems Engineering experience within a Defence environment.
• Experience with SEMP, TCP, requirements management and engineering assurance.
• Experience with configuration management, engineering change and technical risk management.
• Knowledge of Verification and Validation (V&V) and Test & Evaluation (T&E).
• Understanding of Defence engineering governance, certification and technical assurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain systems engineering documentation and artefacts.
• Support systems engineering, integration and configuration management activities.
• Develop and review TCPs and engineering documentation.
• Contribute to T&E, V&V, engineering assurance and certification activities.
• Review engineering deliverables and system requirements.
• Support engineering change management and risk management.
• Contribute to development, testing, integration and sustainment of Defence systems.
• Engage with Defence, industry and technical stakeholders across the capability lifecycle.
