Job summary

Providence Consulting is seeking experienced Systems Engineers to work across multiple CASG work packages in a fast-paced, complex environment. Roles are based in Canberra and Melbourne and open to permanent or contract arrangements.

A Bachelor of Engineering is required with chartered status or eligibility, and an NV1+ security clearance is preferred. The successful candidate will engage stakeholders, contribute to lifecycle engineering, and operate within the CASG framework across LAND, SEA,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering is required.
• Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent, or eligibility to attain chartered status.
• Existing or reinstatable Australian Defence security clearance (NV1 or higher) is preferred.
• Experience in the Systems Engineering Lifecycle, especially within the C4I domain.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and EQ are important.
• Consulting experience is desirable; training can be provided.

Providence is currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Systems Engineers to work across several upcoming work packages in a fast paced and highly complex environment. These work packages lie across the LAND, SEA, AIR, JOINT and SPACE domains of CASG.

Due to the nature of the work we are seeking people based in Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide who are seeking a change before the end of the year. These roles are full time and people seeking both permanent and contract work are encouraged to apply.

About you:

• A minimum of a Bachelor of Engineering
• A Chartered Professional Engineer of a registered Professional Engineering Body (such as Engineers Australia) equivalent, or be able to attain chartered status
• An existing or reinstatable Australian Defence security clearance (NV1 or higher).
• Engineering experience working above the line within CASG (highly regarded).
• Demonstrated relevant experience in the Systems Engineering Lifecycle, particularly in the C4I and EO domains.
• Highly developed stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management skills.
• High levels of EQ ( you should hopefully know what this is ).
• Consulting experience (desirable). If not we can teach you.
