Job summary

A leading technology firm in Defence is seeking a Systems Administrator in Adelaide. You will maintain multi-user computer systems and ensure operational readiness for Defence capabilities. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in ICT, and working knowledge of VMWare, Cisco, and scripting languages. Qualifications

• Experience with continuous operations of multi-user computer systems.
• Ability to meet operational requirements for critical Defence capability.
• Skills in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and fault resolution.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous operations of multi-user computer systems.
• Ensure pre-flight and safety of the system before handover to aircrew.
• Report project status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts.

Skills

Experience working on projects in highly classified environments

Experience supporting multi-computer systems

Experience with VMWare

Knowledge of Cisco Networks

Technical understanding of scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell)

Knowledge of Redhat Enterprise Linux Administration

Education

Bachelor level degree or equivalent ICT industry experience
