Saab Australia is seeking Software Engineers to join our Adelaide teams on multiple mid-level and senior opportunities. You will work on leading-edge defence and ICT projects, with hybrid work options and opportunities to contribute to the sustainment of critical capabilities.

Ideal candidates will have a software engineering background, strong OO skills, experience with Git, and a willingness to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment. Saab values trust, drive and expertise.

Qualifications

• Essential: Bachelor degree in Software Engineering/CS or equivalent experience.
• Essential: Fluent in Java, Ada, C++, C# (at least one) and experience in procedural and OO programming.
• Essential: Git and basic configuration management; Agile and systems engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in system architecture and design decisions.
• Review code and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, and Stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and engineering practices.
• Support software releases and ongoing maintenance activities.
