Job summary

Downer in Melbourne is seeking a Project Scheduler to support Defence capability programs. You will work with Product Managers and project teams to create and maintain integrated schedules across acquisition and sustainment activities, translating activity details into actionable timelines for delivery.

You will drive schedule accuracy, monitor risks and dependencies, and provide clear insights to support governance, planning and decision‑making across multiple stakeholders in a complex defence

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining complex project schedules.
• Strong understanding of integrated scheduling, milestones and dependencies.
• Experience supporting defence or similarly complex project environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain detailed schedules aligned with program priorities.
• Keep schedules current with regular updates and progress monitoring.
• Develop Sustainment IMS and six‑month forward planning views.
• Prepare scheduling reports for governance forums and senior stakeholders.
