Job summary

Nova Systems in Canberra is seeking two Project Officers to support the GWEO AIR Domain within a dynamic Defence environment. You will help plan, coordinate and deliver Defence projects, while engaging with Defence stakeholders and industry partners to ensure milestones are met and risks are managed.

You will contribute to project documentation, reporting and continuous improvement, coordinating meetings and preparing agendas, papers and minutes to enable successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Project coordination or project delivery experience within Defence or Defence industry environments.
• Experience with project governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of Defence projects and program activities.
• Assist with project scheduling, reporting, governance and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Monitor project actions, risks, issues and dependencies to support successful delivery outcomes.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops and reviews, including the preparation of agendas, papers and meeting minutes.
• Develop project documentation, briefing materials, reports and presentations.
• Support project leadership teams with planning, tracking and progress reporting activities.
• Work collaboratively with Defence and industry stakeholders to ensure project objectives and deliverables are achieved.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the development of project management best practices.
