Job summary

CAPDA Consulting seeks an experienced Project or Program Manager to support a Defence and National Security engagement in Canberra. You will lead planning, governance and delivery of complex Defence projects and programs in a high-profile stakeholder environment.

Ideal candidates have 8-10+ years in defence program management, strong governance knowledge, ability to brief senior Defence and industry stakeholders, and current NV1 security clearance or higher.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering outcomes within Defence program environments is described but not itemized as formal qualifications.
• Excellent governance, planning and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Strong briefing and influencing skills with Defence and industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, governance and delivery of complex Defence projects and programs.
• Manage project scope, schedule, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Develop and maintain project plans, reports, and governance documentation.
• Monitor project performance and provide strategic reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Engage with Defence, Government, industry and delivery teams to ensure delivery excellence.
• Support capability acquisition, sustainment and delivery activities as required.
