Job summary

Azooa is seeking an experienced Assistant Program Manager to support the Department of Defence’s Land Network Integration Centre (LNIC) in Canberra. You will translate complex requirements into work packages, coordinate priorities, and support delivery of LNIC’s annual Program of Work.

You will work onsite with Defence personnel, industry partners and technical teams, bringing strong planning, stakeholder management and systems engineering understanding to ensure timely, secure outcomes across

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of industry experience in Program Management.
• Bachelor degree or higher in Project Management and/or Program Management, or relevant certification.
• Current NV1 Australian Government security clearance held prior to commencement and maintained.
• Ability to obtain NV2 clearance if required by Defence.
• Ability to work onsite in Canberra, ACT.

Responsibilities

• Program planning and coordination: Develop and maintain LNIC’s Program of Work and translate tasks into deliverable activities.
• Work intake and delivery management: Manage external requests and internal activities with clear scope and schedules.
• Project management processes: Develop and improve LNIC’s project management processes.
• Risk management and governance: Support risk management and governance, provide secretariat support for engagements.
• Stakeholder engagement: Build relationships across technical and non-technical teams and communicate priorities clearly.
• Procurement support: Assist with procurement activities in line with Commonwealth Rules.
• Exercise and operational activity support: Plan and coordinate LNIC contributions to Defence exercises and Joint activities.
• Reporting and knowledge transfer: Maintain documentation, schedules, progress updates and handover materials.
