Job summary

Babcock International Group Australia in Henderson, WA is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join our Defence procurement team on a 6-month fixed term contract. You will gain exposure to the full procurement lifecycle, from RFQs to contract compliance, and develop risk management skills.

Qualifications

• Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain Defence Security Clearance
• Experience with ERP systems (IFS preferred) and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented with strong organisational abilities
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Current driver’s licence
• CIPS or ASCI membership considered highly

• Prepare, negotiate, and submit RFQ packages
• Support procurement and purchasing activities across the business
• Assist in identifying and managing procurement-related risks
