Job summary

The Department of Defence is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer (APS6) in Cabarlah to lead sustainment efforts for a specialised communications capability. • Develop materiel logistics strategies and plans to support sustainment.
• Prepare and maintain policy, processes and procedures for equipment sustainment.
• Review and report materiel logistics performance in sustainment.
• Apply organisation processes for Integrated Logistics Support Instructions.
• Build and sustain relationships with stakeholders at strategic and operational levels.
• Communicate logistics objectives in written and oral forms for decision-makers.
• Interpret and comply with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.
• Evaluate logistics activities to align with sustainment objectives.
