Job summary

Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is seeking a Project Engineer to support delivery of a landmark Defence infrastructure program across regional NSW, including RAAF Base Wagga. You’ll work with site teams, consultants and stakeholders to deliver safe, on‑time and high‑quality outcomes.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll coordinate work packages, review plans, monitor progress and support reporting.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required and relevant professional accreditation may be preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in building, infrastructure or major construction projects.
• Experience delivering defence, commercial, residential, education, healthcare or institutional projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage assigned work packages.
• Plan and program construction activities.
• Review drawings, specs and construction methodologies.
• Monitor progress, costs and quality outcomes.
• Manage subcontractor performance and site interfaces.
• Resolve engineering and technical challenges.
• Support project reporting and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project standards and contractual requirements.
