Job summary

Ertech, a WA-based construction contractor, is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead all commercial, contractual, and procurement activities across major defence infrastructure scopes in WA. The role involves driving financial performance, risk management, and successful project delivery in collaboration with the Duratec-Ertech Joint Venture.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in senior commercial roles, tertiary qualification in related fields, and proven experience managing

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Commercial Manager leading teams.
• Experience delivering large construction, infrastructure or defence projects.
• Proven experience administering complex head contracts and major subcontract packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead all commercial, contractual, and procurement activities across the project.
• Provide commercial advice to project leadership on contract obligations, risks and entitlements.
• Manage project forecasting, cost control, cash flow, revenue and margin reporting.
• Lead preparation and administration of claims, variations, EOTs and commercial close-out.
• Oversee subcontract procurement and contract administration from tender through to completion.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks while driving cost savings and improved outcomes.
• Maintain contractual compliance, governance, and accurate commercial reporting.
