Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Practitioner to support a high-profile Defence program in Cairns. You will deliver ILS outcomes, manage logistics documentation, and engage with Defence stakeholders to ensure through-life support and successful capability delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven ILS practitioner experience within Defence or similar environment.
• Experience across acquisition, IIS and sustainment lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Defence logistics policies and frameworks.
• Experience creating logistics documentation and artefacts.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities.
• Certificate IV in Materiel Logistics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Integrated Logistics Support outcomes across the project.
• Codification and cataloguing of supply items.
• Identify supplier and repair pipelines; support through-life planning.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and schedules.
• Support introduction into service and sustainment activities.
• Manage inventory transactions in authorised systems.
• Prepare reports and artefacts for project outcomes.
• Engage with Defence stakeholders and project teams.
• Participate in acceptance testing and logistics recommendations.
• Liaise with military units and industry partners.
