CAE Australia is seeking a Group Lead, ICT Training Systems to guide a skilled team delivering and maintaining complex Defence training environments across Australia. You will balance hands-on ICT leadership with strategic objectives, driving technical solutions and key projects with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical engineering, ICT or systems administration teams.
• Strong understanding of ICT infrastructure, system administration and support environments.
• Experience managing technical resources, contractors and competing priorities.
• Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience contributing to technical solution development, project delivery or bid activities.
• Strong communication, leadership and team development capabilities.
• Ability to work onsite across Homebush and HMAS Watson locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of ICT professionals supporting Defence training systems and services.
• Provide technical leadership across systems administration, ICT infrastructure and support services.
• Ensure successful delivery of operational support, sustainment activities and system improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, project and business leaders to develop technical solutions and support customer requirements.
• Support bid and proposal activities by contributing technical expertise and resource planning.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships to ensure delivery outcomes and service quality.
• Drive continuous improvement, risk management and operational excellence across the team.
