Job summary

Serco Group plc seeks a General Practitioner for Oakey Health Centre, delivering primary care to Defence members in an Occ Med environment. You will work in a multidisciplinary team and conduct fitness-for-deployment assessments, providing guidance to Defence health leadership.

Role requires unrestricted AHPRA registration, FRACGP/FACRRM or vocational registration, CPR certification, and Australian citizenship with baseline security clearance.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
• FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
• Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
• Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
• Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient‑centred care

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality primary care to Defence members
• Occ Med environment
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
• Conduct fitness‑for‑deployment assessments and pre/post‑deployment care
• Provide medical advice to Defence health leadership

Education

FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration

Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner

Two years GP experience in last five years

Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)

Australian Citizenship (Baseline Security Clearance)
