Job summary

Service Stream is seeking a GIS Analyst to support Defence and Social Infrastructure projects in Melbourne. The role focuses on managing, analysing, and delivering spatial data using ArcGIS and the LISA platform to aid land management, environmental services, project delivery, planning, and asset management.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years' GIS experience, strong ArcGIS skills, and a track record of working with spatial datasets for infrastructure or environmental projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a GIS, spatial analysis, geospatial data management, or related role.
• Demonstrated experience using ESRI ArcGIS products, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and enterprise geospatial solutions.
• Experience managing, analysing, and maintaining spatial datasets for infrastructure, land management, environmental, or asset management projects.
• Strong understanding of spatial data models, coordinate reference systems, geodatabases, and data quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Collect, maintain, validate, and manage geospatial datasets, databases, and repositories, ensuring data quality, compliance, and accurate metadata.
• Conduct spatial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing geospatial insights to support planning, project delivery, operational readiness, and asset management.
• Produce maps, dashboards, and other spatial products that effectively communicate infrastructure, asset, environmental, security, and project information to stakeholders.
• Configure, maintain, and support ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, LISA, web maps, applications, and map services, including user support and access management.
• Develop and enhance automated GIS workflows using Python, FME, SQL, and ArcGIS tools to improve data processing, reporting, and map production efficiency.
