Job summary

XPT Software is seeking an Enterprise Architect with Defence procurement expertise to lead the strategic design, governance, and optimization of our enterprise architecture. You will align business strategy with technical delivery across the Defence procurement landscape.

The role focuses on creating future-state blueprints, roadmaps, and architectural standards, and requires deep domain knowledge of ILS, FMS, and export controls.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in establishing enterprise-level frameworks and governance structures (TOGAF/DoDAF favored).
• Experience in Defence procurement architectures or large-scale government programs.
• Ability to translate business strategy into secure, scalable architectural designs.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the enterprise architecture framework aligning business, data, application, and technology with Defence strategy and standards.
• Develop future-state roadmaps and blueprints to optimise Defence procurement system landscape.
• Lead Architecture Review Boards (ARBs) to evaluate new technology investments and minimise technical debt.
