Job summary

ProFound People is partnering with an Australian R&D and manufacturing company to hire an Electronics Engineer in Adelaide to support design and validation of onboard electrical systems for deployable platforms. You'll work across the full electronic design lifecycle, creating PCBs, validating embedded subsystems, and ensuring reliability and EMI/EMC compliance in defence applications.

This full-time, Adelaide-based role requires hands-on circuit design, lab work, and collaboration with software

Qualifications

Experience in PCB design and schematic capture.
Understanding of DC-DC power conversion and embedded electronics.
Familiarity with EMI/EMC principles in board-level design.
Knowledge of how hardware fits into complete embedded systems.
Comfortable with lab work: oscilloscopes, soldering, board rework, and validation.

Responsibilities

Design and layout of PCBs for defence platforms.
Select components and develop circuits involving power regulation, communications, and sensor integration.
Ensure compliance with EMC/EMI standards.
Collaborate with embedded software engineers to integrate and test systems.
Support prototyping, bring-up, and debugging of new boards.
Contribute to full system design by understanding PCB interactions.
