Birdon Pty Ltd is seeking an AV-L Contracts Manager to join the Legal team at our Port Macquarie shipyard. The role involves commercial delivery support for the AV-L Project, development and delivery of commercial strategies, and management of head contracts and subcontracts.

Occasional travel to Port Macquarie from Sydney may be required. You will lead contract change proposals, negotiate with subcontractors and clients, and drive risk management across multiple strategic projects within the

Qualifications

Formal training in Commercial/Contract Management including CBOK.
Contract management of defence contracts >$100m.
10+ years procurement experience in the Defence sector.
Experience drafting and negotiating contracts and change proposals.
Australian Citizenship with NV1 security clearance eligibility.

Responsabilités

Support commercial project delivery for the AV-L Project with the Project Director and Project Manager.
Manage head contract and subcontracts; lead CCPs and risk reviews.
Negotiate with subcontractors and clients to achieve commercial outcomes.
Lead regular subcontract progress reviews and performance reports.
Contribute to development of procurement and contract-management frameworks.
