Job summary

Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking a Configuration & Data Management (CDM) lead to drive governance, configuration baselines, and data integrity across programs. You’ll collaborate with engineering, drafting, compliance and customer teams to ensure lifecycle control and regulatory alignment.

You’ll implement CDM practices, mentor team members, support audits, and deliver reports and dashboards using Windchill, Jira/Confluence, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Experience in Configuration Management, Data Management or Governance within Defence, Aerospace or complex engineering environments.
• Experience managing engineering data, technical documentation and configuration items within a PLM/PDM environment.
• Experience using Windchill and enterprise PLM/PDM platforms.
• Proficiency with collaboration and workflow tools (Jira/Confluence/SharePoint).
• Experience developing reports and dashboards (Power BI/Tableau).
• Knowledge of configuration control, change management and audits (PCAs/FCAs).
• Experience managing sensitive information including IP and export-controlled data.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead CDM activities in line with program, customer and contractual requirements.
• Provide CDM governance, technical leadership and oversight across the program.
• Develop and maintain configuration management plans, baselines and documentation.
• Implement and support efficient CDM solutions for digital engineering outcomes.
• Manage engineering data, drawings, models and configuration items in Windchill.
• Ensure hardware/software items are controlled within approved baselines.
• Coordinate configuration activities across multiple teams.
• Support configuration control, change management and status accounting.
• Facilitate customer engagements, configuration reviews and audits.
• Ensure compliance with export controls and security classifications while producing reports.
