Job summary

SYPAQ Systems is seeking a Defence Systems Engineer- Communications (Interoperability) to contribute to an Australian Defence project in Canberra. Work involves establishing IAPs and developing datasets for communications across Integrated Air and Missile Defence systems.

The role requires NV2 clearance, with Top-Secret PVT desirable, and an office-based posting in Russell, ACT. The successful candidate will inform Capability Reviews with stakeholders, identify interoperability opportunities,

Qualifications

Extensive experience and knowledge of Defence Communications and Information Systems and stakeholder community.
Demonstrated experience in Defence Programs, Force Design, or Concept Development roles.
Ability to interpret technical information regarding Defence Communications and Information systems and Integrated Air and Missile Defence Systems.

Responsibilities

Establish Interoperability Assurance Profiles (IAP) to develop a data set across communications systems used in the Integrated Air and Missile Defence system.
Inform Capability Reviews with systems owners and Joint stakeholders to identify opportunities to increase interoperability.
Maintain a resilient end-to-end networked environment to support Australian Defence operations.
