Job summary

Amentum is expanding its opportunities on prominent defence projects across air, land and sea, and is growing its presence in cyber, space and nuclear programs.

Join the Commercial team within the Collaborative Autonomous Systems Program Office (CASPO), providing commercial and procurement support across the full acquisition lifecycle while partnering with military, APS and industry stakeholders to achieve key project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial management, contract management, procurement or acquisition environments.
• Experience with ASDEFCON and Commonwealth contracting procurement frameworks essential.
• Experience working with Defence stakeholders including CASG, SPOs, Navy, Army, Defence Primes or Defence industry organisations.
• Current Australian Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2).

Responsibilities

• Support procurement and commercial activities through the full contract lifecycle.
• Assist with procurement planning, tender activities, contract establishment and contract management.
• Prepare and review commercial documentation, reports, briefs, plans and correspondence.
• Provide commercial advice and support to project teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, procurement and other specialist areas to ensure compliance and effective risk management.
• Manage commercial enquiries and resolve contract-related issues.
• Build strong working relationships across project teams and key stakeholder groups.
• Contribute to procurement strategies, schedules and commercial planning activities.
• Assist with the development of business cases, approvals, risk assessments and supporting documentation.
