Job summary

Downer in Canberra seeks a Commercial Advisor to support the Program Director EL2 on commercial matters, including contract advice and review of deliverables. The role administers the Contract Suite and supports transitions such as DHFCS to EDHFCS.

The successful candidate will lead the Contractors' implementation of the AIC plan (AICP), interface with CASG MPB, and provide procurement compliance across the Sustainment team.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Contract Management or related field, or 5+ years as Commercial Advisor.
• Understanding of ASDEFCON Support, Support Short and Strategic Materiel.
• Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director EL2 on commercial matters.
• Provide contract advice and review contract deliverables.
• Manage the Contract Suite administration and support the transition of DHFCS to EDHFCS.
• Lead and manage Contractors' implementation of the AIC plan (AICP).
• Interface with CASG MPB to resolve and endorse commercial matters.
