Qualifications

• Experience managing a technical team of solution architects, sales engineers or similar technical roles.
• Experience building and operating a cloud-based architecture.
• Familiarity with the Australian Defence Organisation and Defence Industrial Base.
• Working knowledge of Australian Government security policy, including the Essential Eight and IRAP.

Responsibilities

• Build, grow, and develop a high-performing team of senior solutions architects.
• Set the strategic direction for the solutions architecture team across Defence.
• Lead as a player-coach and deliver directly to customers when needed.
• Establish trusted relationships with senior Defence stakeholders and translate requirements to cloud designs.
• Translate mission requirements into architecture designs addressing security, compliance, and cost.
• Collaborate with account, service, and security teams to remove blockers and align with AWS objectives.
• Establish processes for autonomous, decision-driven delivery.
