Job summary

Downer has been awarded the Property and Asset Services (PAS) contract to deliver base and estate services across NSW/ACT and QLD. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing water systems, performing backflow prevention, and responding quickly to urgent repairs on Defence bases in Queensland.

You will hold a Certificate III in Plumbing with QBCC Licence, plus a current Open Driver's Licence, and be prepared to obtain necessary Defence Security Clearance as required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Plumbing or equivalent is required.
• QBCC Plumbing Licence (QLD) is required.
• Current Open Driver's Licence is required.
• Ability to obtain Defence Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general plumbing maintenance and minor upgrade works.
• Maintain and repair water supply, sewerage, drainage and other plumbing systems across the base.
• Undertake backflow prevention and thermostatic mixing valve testing where certified.
• Respond promptly to service requests and urgent repairs.
