Job summary
Downer is seeking an Electrician for Randwick Barracks. You will undertake electrical maintenance, inspection and repair to ensure safe operation of systems across the base, while collaborating with trades and service providers to support PAS delivery.
The role requires a Certificate III in Electrotechnology, NSW Electrical Licence, and the ability to obtain Defence Security Clearance. Open to candidates with post-trade facilities experience and a strong safety mindset.
Qualifications
- Post-trade experience in facilities or electrical maintenance.
- Experience in electrical systems inspection, repair and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Defence Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Undertake electrical maintenance, repair and inspection tasks across the base.
- Deliver high quality trade services and ensure WHS and environmental compliance.
- Collaborate with other trades and service providers to support PAS delivery.
- Improve longevity of fixed plant and equipment.
- Maintain clear, professional communication regarding works and outcomes.
