Compas Pty Ltd is seeking a Technical Writer to support a major government project in Canberra. You will develop, review and maintain Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation, SOPs and integration artefacts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project, engineering and quality standards.

The contract runs from November 2026 to June 2027, and candidates must hold the NV2 security clearance. You will work with engineering, logistics and project stakeholders to gather, validate information

Technical Writer | ILS & SOP Documentation

Support a major government project as a Technical Writer, developing, reviewing and maintaining Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), integration documentation and broader project artefacts.

Essential Tasks

Key Criteria

• Strong capability in developing clear, accurate and fit-for-purpose technical documentation.
• Experience with ILS documentation, SOPs and operational documentation.
• Ability to gather and validate technical information with engineering, logistics and project stakeholders.
• Ability to produce documentation aligned with project, engineering, sustainment and quality requirements.
